This sounds a lot – the job is very varied and most of these tasks are occasional so pleae don’t be put off. Most of them are straightforward and easy to pick up.
The Council meets every 2 months and the majority of the work is the week before and after the meeting.

Holme Parish Council is seeking a new Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to take over from Janice when she retires in September 2022.
Hours are 20 per month, working from home, hours completely flexible to fit around other activities. Attendance at 7 Council evening meetings per year (plus any additional meetings ad hoc) is required. Salary from £13.48 ph increasing with experience. Full training and support is available and Janice will be about to hand over and help.
Applicants must be confident, well organised, literate, numerate and able to use Word and Excel. They will need to learn to upload items to the website, download data from Speed Indicators and operate PAYE, (however none of this is complex). They should be a good communicator.
Equipment is provided (Laptop, printer, tablet) and there is some paperwork and equipment to store.
